You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.
Communication is key. Be honest. Let me know what you're feeling, experiencing and what your goals are for each massage session. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.

After a lifetime of working in the creative space of theatre arts and education, Jamie found herself in a place of emotional and physical burnout.
In addition to her professional career, Jamie and her husband were raising four children and living the typical American lifestyle - overworked and overcommitted. It was Jamie's health that took the toll.
"I was always on 'Go', always in the mode to create, produce, fulfill, and perform. My brain, nor my body, could ever fully rest or recover.
As a result, I was left with stress I could not manage. I was tired all of the time and I was experiencing chronic aches and pains."
"I decided to change doctors and choose one known for placing a high value on listening to her patients and helping them identify their source of pain, instead of quickly dispensing medicine."
"At the initial consult, this doctor asked questions and listened to me for two hours. It didn't take long for her to realize that I was a woman who was giving everything - literally my whole being into caring for others."
"As I sat in her office, I felt she could see my soul as she asked me one pivotal question, 'Jamie, what are you doing for self-care?'"
"I stared at her blankly".
"She repeated the question in another way, 'Jamie, I hear your schedule, I hear your stress, I hear how you continually fill the gap with your own resources of time, money, energy, and creativity. As a result, you've depleted your own reservoir.' She went on to explain that as a caregiver and businesswoman I could not continue to give from a well that had run dry."
"It could have been humiliating to sit in her office and have her see me so clearly, but I knew she was right and I vowed to do whatever she prescribed. My long-term health was too valuable to my family and I immediately knew I needed a hard-stop and lifestyle reboot."
"The doctor asked me about my sleeping pattern and water intake - both were lousy. She also asked me to develop a self-care plan."
"This I laughed at, maybe even out loud. She clearly didn't know who she was talking to. A self-care plan? Is that even a thing? I quickly realized she knew exactly who she was talking to. She also knew that I needed a plan and someone to hold me accountable."
"I agreed to put together a self-care plan (after I researched how to) and the first thing on my list was regular massage. That simple choice changed the trajectory of my health as well as my professional journey."
